The new RP site updates
Hello, right now the Role Playing zone is being changed into it's own site with more ways to play. For those of you who haven't heard there will now be 2 forms of roleplaying: The previously exisitng method "Campains" (which offer a more structured storyline, but are also harder to launch, manage and maintain) and another method known as "freeroaming" (Offers less structured and more chaotic storylines, but much easier to launch, manage and maintain).

Deck submission contest
The fact that this is ready to launch soon puts us in a good position to start on the foundations of another future project. However, i wanted to throw you guys the work via contest, as I'm sure that it will result in far better creations.

The contest is simple, make decks for any or all of the following 1) Yugi Moto 2) Seto Kaiba 3) Syrus Trusdale

Reward: 200 GP to the selection's creator, this deck will become our universes canon deck for that character.

The RP takes place 10 years after the events of Yu-gi-oh GX, so the characters may have changed their dueling styles but they should still remain true to their cores. For example, if you submit a yugi deck without a dark magician in it, it will probably not be selected, same with Seto's Blue-Eyes or Syrus Roid cards.

Decks will be selected on both strength and how true they stay to the characters. Any questions on this matter feel free to ask.

Submit your decks by posting a deck list (not just a screenshot) of your deck as a reply to this thread. Make sure the character whose deck it is is labeled clearly

Alternate emails and DN accounts

The dojo has another project in the works, but it is going to take 70 new email addresses and DN accounts. It is the pain in the butt and most staff have too much on their plate to get this done, so I am offering it to you as divided up labor.

130 GP for each 10 accounts made. You may only accept in groups of 10. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not accept if you are going to disapear for a while as this will REALLY throw a wrench into my plans. I need to have clear starting and ending points for this project to move forward smoothly. Email sites will only let you create so many accounts a day, so you may have to break this up into a few days. If you use alternate email services (hotmail [less restrictions], yahoo, gmail, etc)

For more information, contact t3st3rd3ck

Note to self: thedojowelcomes you 1-20 done. (credit to twio12, 40 point bonus: totaled)

Changes are fine. Also our universe ignores that Synchro and XYZ do not exist in this timeline (something that will probably be explained in a further down the road event).

Keep in mind this happens 10 years after the GX season 4 finale, and as such the dueling styles can have changed significantly but should stay true to their core (DM for yugi, Blue eyes for kaiba, and roids [you can even go just straight up machine] for syrus).

Frankly you can sacrifice more classic appeal for playability if you want. Part of the aim of these decks is to be powerful enough to take down E-dragons and such. Do something really interesting and powerful with these early sets.

I heard blue eyes has new support out. That is exciting news! Someone make sure to make use of it.

This version of the original Seto Kiba is makes use of White Stones of Legend and Blue-eyed Maidens to easily and almost flawlessly put Blue-eyes White Dragons onto the field. This also makes the deck really competitive in the current meta format. Other then being able to stick Blue-eyes White Dragons on the board fairly easy it allows for exceeds(xyz monsters) to be made and synchro summons possible. The point of Junk Synchron isn't to synchro summon like in most decks he's in. He's meant to pull stones and maidens to the feild so you can easily synchro into Blue-eyed Silver Dragon. You can also use him to make Celestial Dragon as a guaranteed hit and summon. The deck floods the field with 2500 + attack monsters most of the time with ease. Honest is also a help to this deck as it helps you keep monsters on the field when they would normally be ran over by something bigger. The deck also doesn't kill the whole Blue-eyes White Dragon is sapreme belief Seto Kiba had. It just makes it that much more real in the current meta game. This has been tested on YGO Pro as DN doesn't have all the cards yet. It holds about 7-3 record. Rather stable in meta game as it won a 2-1 match up against Dark Worlds and a 2-0 against Prophecy and Mermail Atlantians. Most other decks lost almost immediately. The simple strategy and fast pace of the deck makes it playable and easy to understand.
