The Hunting Grounds is a place where you can come to challenge anyone in the academy or hold special challenges. For playing in the hunting grounds, you will be awarded Grade Points (GP). Playing different types of matches will earn different amounts of GP. There are 3 types of Hunting Grounds Games that can be played 1) General Challenges, 2) Special Challenges and 3) Gamble Games 4) Tag force battle 5) Daily tournament 6) Hidden Gemstone game

GP gains
General Challenges: +4 GP to winner, +2 GP to loser
Special Challenges: Academy Accountants decides how much GP to winner and loser
Gamble Game: GP gambled is stated in the title by original poster.
Tag force battle: 10 GP to winning team, 5 to losing team. Bonus 5 to organizer(s).
Daily tournament: 20 GP to winner, 10 GP to second place, 5 GP to 3rd. Bonus 10 GP to organizer. 1 point for every win.
Gemstone Game: 15 GP to the team that wins. 5 GP to the team that loses. If the match ends in a tie, both teams recieve 10 GP. A bonus 5 GP if you were entrusted with your teams Gemstone.

Note: you can also just call out people in the academy you want to play and post the results. But you will receive NO gp for this.

For an explanation of GP see the shop or the new student packet.

In a General Challenge, Gamble Game, and Tag Force Game you must pick either single game or 2/3 option as a format.

A General Challenge:
To make a general challenge make a new topic and make the title "General Challenge: The date"

From then on, whenever you play an academy student you may post your wins and loses in this thread as a reply. Post screenshots. Make sure you tell a player you are making the game a Hunting Grounds match so they know any further games they play with you cannot be posted in their general challenge.

You may only play one player for your general challenge per day. Tutorial staff deletes your posts at the end of their day, so you can do another general challenge tomorrow.

For an example of a general challenge see this link: https://dragontrainingdojo.forumotion.com/t614-general-challenge-feb-17th

Special challenge: Have a special challenge in mind? Maybe you want to play with only HERO cards in both decks? Or no extra deck? These are great challenges but will probably award you less GP then playing best out of 25 with 25 different decks. Or making a deck (with no deck recipes and no combos from your recipe decks) in 10 minutes and then playing a match. Hence GP rewards for these games varry and will be decided by Academy Accountants (note: if you are an accountant you must have another accountant determine the score of special challenges). The sky is the limit in special challenges, but I'm just trying to give an idea of what will award more GP and what will award less. The rule of thumb is something more time consuming or more difficult will award more GP. A Tutorial Center Staff member will determine how much. The winner of these matches will always gain a little more GP then the loser. GP awards will be determined by a mod or admin.

You can play as many special challenges a day you want, but you only get GP for playing someone in a special challenge ONCE even if days have passed. The host of a special challenge thread decides when to close it. Once it has been closed they can remake it again after a weeks wait and play people they played in their previous game for GP once more.

For an example of a special challenge see this link: https://dragontrainingdojo.forumotion.com/t174-special-challenge-example-challenge

Gamble Game: Bet your GP in one of these matches. You must throw a challenge and wait for a response. You cannot choose your opponent. You cannot bet GP you do not have.

You may gamble GP by hosting a gamble game. Start with the subject "Gamble Game: (GP offered here)" Make sure to include the format in the post as well as how much GP you are throwing down. You can only play one Gamble Game per day.

For an example of a gamble game see this link: https://dragontrainingdojo.forumotion.com/t175-example-gamble-game-19-gp

Tag Force Game: Play a tag force game (as described in the tag force league forum) with 3 other dojo players. GP gains described above. If you organized the Tag team match, you'll recieve a bonus. You may only play a tag force game up to 3 times a day for GP.

Make your title: "Tag Force Game: Date"
Make sure each post includes the name of your partner and opponents, and the score. Make sure you include screenshots and the format.

Example of a Tag Force Game: (coming soon)

Daily Tournament
Once a day you can host a tournament. You can make the rules and format of this tournament whatever you want. use www.challonge.com or simular tournament hosting sites for aid and recording. Link the bracket. The tournament must be completed for the host to gain GP. Only academy members can be in these tournaments.

Make your title: "Daily Tournament: Date"

Gemstone Challenge
Get 2 groups of 3 people (faster organization if you use your Dorm Wars team, but not required. Can be any team of 3 academy members)

The three of you will then decide who will carry your teams "gemstone." If your gemstone is captured, you cannot win the game.

Once your team has decided have one member send a Dojo email to the group "Tutorial Staff" Once the tutorial staff has that name they will declare the match begins and who goes first (which will be determined by a real life coin flip.

The team that goes first is in it's attacking phase. The team that goes second is in it's defending phase.

The attacking team must then select an attacker and a target.

The defending team may respond by either allowing the attack (in which case a game between the attacker and the target will be played). Or the team can choose another player to defend the target. If the attacker wins the game against someone who defended their teammate they can attack again before going to the defensive phase. You're team may only defend once per defending phase. Once this has resolved the defending team then becomes the attacking team, and the attacking team becomes the defending team.

If your Gemstone holder loses you lose your chance of winning. If you lost your gemstone while in defensive phase yo get 1 more attack to try to tie the game (assuming any players have not been defeated).

Once a player has been defeated, he can no longer defend or attack. The only way around this is if a Gemstone holder uses his revive. If a gemstone user uses his revive he replies with the words "revive" in the post. It will bring a player who was defeated back to "life" and allow them to attack and defend again. The downside is this will give away that you are holding your teams gemstone, so use it wisely. If your gemstone holder no longer has his/her gemstone, they cannot use this ability. This ability can only be used once per game by each gemstone holder.

Make your title: "Gemstone Challenge: Date"
Include in your message: The names of your teammates the names of your opposing team.
Remember: To send your gemstone holders name to tutorial center staff via email, to post screenshots

Example of a gemstone challenge: (Coming soon)

REMEMBER TO POST YOUR SCREENSHOTS ON THE GAMES THAT REQUIRE THEM. IF YOU DO NOT, YOUR GAMES DO NOT COUNT AND YOU DO NOT EARN GP. IT IS THE HOSTS RESPONSIBILITY TO POST SCREEN SHOTS.
If you did not save your screenshots you need to get your opponent to confirm to gain GP.

Tutorial Center Staff will delete your post once they have added the GP you earned to your account.
